About

RABIROSE IT TAB is a combination medication containing Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), and Itopride, a prokinetic agent. Rabeprazole works by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+-ATPase enzyme system (the proton pump) in gastric parietal cells, leading to a potent and sustained reduction in gastric acid secretion. This action is crucial for healing acid-related damage and alleviating symptoms of acid reflux. Itopride, on the other hand, enhances gastrointestinal motility by inhibiting dopamine D2 receptors and acetylcholinesterase, thereby increasing acetylcholine concentration and promoting gastric emptying.

This dual-action formulation is particularly beneficial for patients suffering from gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) who also experience symptoms of impaired gastric motility, such as nausea, vomiting, bloating, or a feeling of early fullness. By simultaneously controlling acid production and enhancing gut movement, RABIROSE IT provides comprehensive relief from a range of upper gastrointestinal discomforts, promoting better digestion and symptom control.
