About
Regdual Tablet is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used to treat colon and rectal cancer.
It should be taken with food, ideally at the same time each day to maximize its effectiveness. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and frequency based on your specific condition, which may be adjusted over time. It’s important to follow your doctor’s instructions precisely. Taking the medication incorrectly or overdosing can lead to serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months before you notice any benefits, so do not stop taking the medication unless advised by your doctor.
Common side effects include infections, low platelet counts, anemia, decreased appetite, bleeding, and high blood pressure. Other possible side effects are voice changes, diarrhea, mouth inflammation (stomatitis), vomiting, nausea, bilirubin in urine, elevated liver enzymes, rash, weakness, pain, fever, mucosal inflammation, and weight loss. If you experience any of these symptoms and they cause discomfort, inform your doctor promptly. Regular blood tests are necessary to monitor your blood counts and liver function.
Since Regdual Tablet can interact with other medications, inform your healthcare provider about all drugs you are taking. This medication is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Both men and women should use effective contraception during treatment to prevent pregnancy.
