About

Renocel 4000IU Injection contains active ingredients such as recombinant human erythropoietin alfa (epoetin alfa) and belongs to a class of medications known as erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESAs). It is used to treat anemia resulting from chronic kidney disease (CKD), cancer chemotherapy, or HIV treatment with zidovudine. Additionally, it helps reduce the need for red blood cell transfusions in patients at high risk of blood loss due to planned surgeries or medical procedures.

This injection is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to the drug or its components, uncontrolled high blood pressure, active thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA), pure red cell aplasia (PRCA), uncontrolled seizures, during pregnancy, or while breastfeeding. Caution is advised when using this medication in patients with a history of blood clots, heart disease, stroke, kidney or liver disorders, thalassemia, sickle cell anemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, leukemia, or cancer. Its use in children under 18 years is recommended only when the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Elderly patients should be closely monitored for possible side effects. It is essential to consult your doctor to understand the risks and benefits of using Renocel 4000IU Injection before starting treatment.
