About

Reviro 300mg Tablet contains the active ingredient Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate, an antiretroviral medication used to treat infections caused by HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) and HBV (hepatitis B virus). It belongs to the class of nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs) and works by blocking enzymes essential for viral replication, such as HIV reverse transcriptase and hepatitis B DNA polymerase. This medication is always used in combination with other drugs for treating HIV infection. It is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 to 18 years. For HIV treatment, it is prescribed to adolescents who have previously been treated with other HIV medicines that have become less effective due to resistance or side effects. The safety and effectiveness of this tablet have not been established in patients over 65 years old.

Do not use this medication if you have experienced allergic reactions to Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate or any of its components. During treatment with Reviro 300mg Tablet, your doctor may regularly monitor your blood counts, bone mineral density, and liver and kidney function to avoid serious complications. Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart failure, pancreatitis, bone diseases such as osteonecrosis (bone tissue death), fractures, chronic hepatitis B or C, or kidney problems.

Reviro 300mg Tablet should not be given to adolescents with existing kidney issues. If you have lactose intolerance, please inform your doctor before starting treatment. Also, notify your healthcare provider if you are planning to become pregnant, are currently pregnant, or think you might be pregnant. Breastfeeding is not recommended as there is a risk of HIV transmission. Effective contraception should be used to prevent the spread of HIV during treatment.
