About

VILATIN M 50/1000 is a fixed-dose combination medication containing Vildagliptin 50mg and Metformin 1000mg, designed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. Vildagliptin, a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, works by increasing the levels of active incretin hormones, glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP).
