About

Zomelis SR 100 contains Vildagliptin 100mg in a sustained-release formulation, used for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Vildagliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that works by enhancing the body's natural ability to control blood glucose levels. It achieves this by increasing the levels of active incretin hormones, glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP).
