About

AZILDAC 40 contains Azilsartan 40mg, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) used for the treatment of essential hypertension (high blood pressure). Azilsartan works by selectively blocking the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptors found in various tissues, including vascular smooth muscle. Angiotensin II is a potent vasoconstrictor and a key component of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS), which plays a crucial role in regulating blood pressure.
