About

Lastet 100mg Injection is an anticancer medication containing the active ingredient Etoposide, which belongs to a class of drugs called cytostatics. It is used in the treatment of certain types of cancer, including testicular cancer, small-cell lung cancer, acute myeloid leukemia (a type of blood cancer), lymphatic system tumors such as Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and ovarian cancer in adults.

Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you are currently undergoing or have previously received radiotherapy or chemotherapy. You should also notify your doctor if you have any ongoing infections or low albumin (protein) levels in your blood. Lastet 100mg Injection should not be used if you have recently received a yellow fever vaccine or any other live vaccines.

It is important to inform your doctor if you have a history of kidney or liver problems, as this may affect your treatment. Both men and women must use reliable birth control methods during treatment and for at least six months after the final dose. Men should avoid fathering a child during this time, and it's recommended to consult your doctor for advice regarding fertility concerns.

This medication may lower your blood cell counts, which can increase the risk of infections. Therefore, your doctor will likely monitor your blood, kidney, and liver function regularly through lab tests. The safety and effectiveness of Lastet 100mg Injection in children have not been established.
