About

Olmesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) primarily utilized in the comprehensive management of essential hypertension. Its mechanism of action involves selectively blocking the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor, which is found in various tissues, including vascular smooth muscle, the adrenal gland, and the kidneys.
