About

Ranizurel 0.5mg Injection contains Ranibizumab, an anti-neovascularisation agent that belongs to a class of medications known as vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A) antagonists. It is used in adults to treat various eye conditions that can lead to vision impairment. These include wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a chronic eye disorder that affects central vision and makes activities like reading and driving difficult.

It is also prescribed to treat myopic choroidal neovascularization (mCNV), a condition in highly near-sighted individuals where abnormal blood vessels grow at the back of the eye. Additionally, it is used to manage macular edema following retinal vein occlusion, diabetic macular edema, and diabetic retinopathy, all of which can lead to vision loss if left untreated.

Ranizurel 0.5mg Injection should not be used if you are allergic to Ranibizumab or any of its components. Avoid using this medication if you have an eye infection or experience eye pain or redness. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice symptoms such as worsening eye pain or redness, blurred or reduced vision, increased floaters (small particles in your vision), or increased sensitivity to light. Also, let your doctor know if you have a history of eye conditions, previous eye treatments, or if you have ever had a stroke before starting this treatment.
