About

Renocel 10000IU Injection contains recombinant human erythropoietin alfa (epoetin alfa) as its active ingredient and belongs to a class of medications known as erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESAs). It is used to treat anemia resulting from chronic kidney disease (CKD), cancer chemotherapy, or HIV treatment involving zidovudine. Additionally, it helps reduce the need for red blood cell transfusions in patients at risk of significant blood loss due to planned surgeries or medical procedures.

This injection is not recommended for individuals with known hypersensitivity to epoetin alfa or any of its components, as well as those with uncontrolled high blood pressure, active thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA), pure red cell aplasia (PRCA), uncontrolled seizures, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Caution is advised in patients with a history of blood clots, cardiovascular disease, stroke, kidney or liver disorders, thalassemia, sickle cell anemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, leukemia, or cancer. In children under 18, it should only be used if the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Elderly patients should be closely monitored for adverse effects. It is essential to discuss the potential risks and benefits with your doctor before starting treatment with Renocel 10000IU Injection.
