About

Zyrop 4000IU Injection contains the active ingredient recombinant human erythropoietin alfa (epoetin alfa). It belongs to a class of medications known as erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESAs). It is used to treat anemia resulting from chronic kidney disease (CKD), chemotherapy for cancer, or HIV treatment with zidovudine. Additionally, it helps reduce the need for red blood cell transfusions in patients at high risk of blood loss due to planned surgeries or medical procedures.

Zyrop 4000IU Injection should not be used in individuals with hypersensitivity to epoetin alfa or any of its components, uncontrolled high blood pressure, active thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA), pure red cell aplasia (PRCA), uncontrolled seizures, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Caution is advised in patients with a history of blood clots, heart disease, stroke, kidney or liver disorders, thalassemia, sickle cell anemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, leukemia, or other cancers. In children under 18, it should only be used if the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Elderly patients should be closely monitored for any side effects during treatment.

Before starting Zyrop 4000IU Injection, discuss the potential risks and benefits with your healthcare provider.
