About

Terlieon 1mg Injection contains Terlipressin, a vasopressin receptor agonist. It is used to treat bleeding from enlarged veins in the oesophagus (bleeding oesophageal varices) and to improve kidney function in adults with hepatorenal syndrome, a condition marked by a sudden decline in kidney function.

Do not use Terlieon 1mg Injection if you are allergic to Terlipressin or any of its ingredients. It is also not recommended if you have low oxygen levels (hypoxia), worsening breathing problems, or reduced blood flow to the heart, limbs, or intestines. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have septic shock (a severe infection), bronchial asthma or other respiratory diseases, uncontrolled high blood pressure, a history of heart attack, hardening of the arteries (arteriosclerosis), or irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias).

Tell your doctor if you have poor blood circulation to the brain (stroke), kidney problems, electrolyte imbalances, low body fluids, or blood loss. Also inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, breastfeeding, or aged over 70 years. Terlieon 1mg Injection is not recommended for children or adolescents. Since this medicine contains sodium, let your doctor know if you are on a low-salt diet.
