About

Zetri 1gm Injection is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in various parts of the body, including the brain (e.g., meningitis), lungs (e.g., pneumonia), ears, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, bones and joints, blood, and heart. It may also be used to prevent infections during surgical procedures.

This medicine is administered either as an intravenous infusion or as an injection into a vein or muscle under medical supervision. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and schedule for you. It is important to take Zetri 1gm Injection exactly as prescribed, at evenly spaced intervals, and complete the full course even if you start feeling better. Stopping early may lead to recurrence or worsening of the infection.

Common side effects may include diarrhea, rash, changes in liver function tests, and variations in blood cell counts (such as elevated eosinophils, decreased white blood cells, and low platelets). Some patients may experience temporary redness or pain at the injection site. These side effects are usually mild, but you should inform your doctor if they persist or become bothersome.

Before using Zetri 1gm Injection, inform your doctor if you have any allergies to antibiotics, or if you have kidney or liver problems. Also, provide your doctor with a list of all other medications you are taking, as they may interact with this treatment.
