About

Zoldonat 4mg Injection contains Zoledronic Acid, a medication from the bisphosphonate class. It is used to lower elevated calcium levels in the blood (a condition known as tumor-induced hypercalcemia or TIH), which may occur in adults with tumors that disrupt normal bone metabolism and increase calcium release from the bones. Additionally, it helps prevent bone-related complications in adults with multiple myeloma or bone metastases from solid tumors, alongside standard cancer treatments.

Zoldonat 4mg Injection is also prescribed to prevent or treat osteoporosis—a condition where bones become weak and fragile—in postmenopausal women and in men. It is used to manage Paget’s disease of bone, a disorder that causes abnormal bone weakening and deformity. The injection is also effective in preventing or treating osteoporosis caused by long-term use of corticosteroids in both men and women.

Do not use Zoldonat 4mg Injection if you are allergic to zoledronic acid, any bisphosphonates, or other components of this medicine. It is also not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver conditions, bone disorders, or symptoms such as jaw pain, swelling, or numbness. This medication is not suitable for individuals under 18 years of age. Although it is used in patients with cancer to treat bone-related issues, Zoldonat 4mg is not a chemotherapy drug and does not slow or stop the spread of cancer.
