GLIMIFLO MV2 TAB is an oral antidiabetic medication combining three active ingredients: Glimepiride, Metformin, and Voglibose. This triple-drug formulation is designed to provide comprehensive glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who have not achieved adequate control with monotherapy or dual therapy. Glimepiride, a sulfonylurea, stimulates insulin secretion from pancreatic beta cells. Metformin, a biguanide, reduces hepatic glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity in peripheral tissues. Voglibose, an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor, delays the absorption of carbohydrates from the gastrointestinal tract, thereby reducing post-prandial glucose excursions.
