Immutil S 360 Tablet is an immunosuppressive medication that contains the active ingredient Mycophenolate sodium. It belongs to the class of inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) inhibitors. This medicine is primarily used to prevent organ rejection in patients who have undergone organ transplantation, such as kidney, heart, or liver transplants. It is typically prescribed as part of a combination therapy with other immunosuppressive agents.

Immutil S 360 is contraindicated during pregnancy due to a high risk of birth defects and miscarriage. It should only be used in pregnant women if no safer alternatives are available and the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Women of reproductive age are strongly advised to use effective contraception while on this medication to avoid pregnancy. Live vaccines should not be administered during treatment with Immutil S 360, as the drug may reduce vaccine effectiveness and increase the risk of infection. Blood donation should be avoided during treatment and for at least six weeks after stopping the medication to ensure it is fully eliminated from the body.

This medicine should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to it or any of its components. Inform your doctor if you have any history of liver or heart disease before starting treatment. Because Immutil S 360 suppresses the immune system, it may increase the risk of developing skin cancer. Patients should take precautions to limit sun exposure and avoid ultraviolet (UV) light. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms such as unexplained bruising, fever, persistent fatigue, dizziness, yellowing of the skin or eyes, vision problems, decreased urine output, or seizures. Since the medication can affect a baby’s developing immune system, it is also not recommended during breastfeeding.
