About

Myciclib 125mg Capsule is an oral, highly selective cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 4/6 inhibitor, primarily indicated for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR+), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) advanced or metastatic breast cancer. This targeted therapy works by blocking the activity of CDK4 and CDK6, key enzymes that regulate cell cycle progression from the G1 phase to the S phase. In many cancers, these CDKs are overactive, leading to uncontrolled cell proliferation. By inhibiting CDK4/6, Myciclib effectively arrests the cell cycle, preventing cancer cells from dividing and growing, thereby slowing tumor progression. It is typically used in combination with endocrine therapy, such as an aromatase inhibitor or fulvestrant, to enhance therapeutic efficacy and improve progression-free survival in eligible patients, offering a significant advancement in breast cancer management.
