About

Palbotor 100mg is a targeted cancer therapy that contains the active ingredient palbociclib. It belongs to a class of anticancer drugs known as cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors. This medication is used to treat hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer, where the cancer has spread to other parts of the body. It is typically used in combination with specific other anticancer medications.

Common side effects associated with Palbotor 100mg may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, hair loss, dry skin, rash, infections, nosebleeds, reduced appetite, low blood cell counts, swelling of the lips and mouth, changes in taste, dry eyes, blurred vision, and increased tearing. Contact your doctor if any of these side effects become bothersome or persist.

Before starting treatment, inform your healthcare provider if you are allergic to Palbotor 100mg or any of its components. It’s also important to let your doctor know if you have any signs of infection (such as fever, chills, or sore throat), or if you have liver or kidney problems, or an intolerance to certain sugars. If you develop symptoms such as a dry cough, chest pain, or difficulty breathing, seek medical attention immediately, as these may indicate lung inflammation.

Be sure to inform your doctor about all medications, supplements, and herbal products you are currently taking before beginning treatment. Women of childbearing potential should use effective contraception during treatment and for at least three weeks after the final dose. This medication is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
