Religrast 300mcg Injection contains filgrastim as its active ingredient. It is a granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF), a type of white blood cell growth factor approved by the FDA. It is primarily used to lower the risk and duration of febrile neutropenia—a condition involving fever and low white blood cell count—in patients with non-myeloid cancers undergoing chemotherapy. Additionally, it helps raise white blood cell counts and reduce fever duration in patients with acute myeloid leukemia.

This injection is also used for patients undergoing bone marrow transplants and those with severe chronic neutropenia (a persistent low neutrophil count).
