RELIPOIETIN 10000IU INJECTION contains Epoetin Alfa, a medicine that belongs to the class of erythropoiesis-stimulating agents. It is used to treat anemia resulting from chronic kidney disease (CKD), chemotherapy, antiviral treatments (such as zidovudine), frequent blood donations, or bone marrow disorders like myelodysplastic syndromes.

It may also be given to treat or prevent anemia in patients undergoing major orthopedic surgeries (e.g., hip or knee replacements), and it can help reduce the need for blood transfusions in cancer patients or those receiving chemotherapy or surgery.RELIPOIETIN 10000IU INJECTION is suitable for both adults and children. During treatment, your doctor will regularly monitor your blood pressure and iron levels and adjust your dose as needed to prevent side effects.

Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have any heart, liver, or kidney conditions. Also let them know if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, breast or head/neck cancer, seizures, a history of blood clots, or if you are on dialysis or scheduled for surgery.This injection is not recommended for patients who have recently had a heart attack or stroke, or those with severe, uncontrolled high blood pressure or pure red cell aplasia (a condition where the bone marrow fails to produce red blood cells).
