Revolade 50mg Tablet, containing Eltrombopag, is a thrombopoietin receptor agonist used to treat chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) in adults and children aged 1 year and older who have had an insufficient response to corticosteroids, immunoglobulins, or splenectomy. It is also indicated for the treatment of thrombocytopenia in patients with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection to allow the initiation and maintenance of interferon-based therapy, and for severe aplastic anemia (SAA) in patients who have had an insufficient response to immunosuppressive therapy.

Eltrombopag stimulates the proliferation and differentiation of megakaryocytes, leading to increased platelet production in the bone marrow. This action helps to raise and maintain platelet counts, thereby reducing the risk of bleeding events in various thrombocytopenic conditions. Directions For Use
