About

Spexib 150mg Capsule contains the active ingredient Ceritinib, an antineoplastic agent classified as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It is used to treat adult patients diagnosed with Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK)-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). You should not take this medication if you are allergic to Ceritinib or any other components of the capsule. Before beginning treatment, inform your doctor if you have any history of kidney, lung, liver, or pancreatic disorders, or if you have diabetes.

Let your healthcare provider know if you have any heart-related conditions, including a prolonged QT interval (a heart rhythm abnormality), or if you are currently using steroids. While on Spexib 150mg, your doctor may recommend regular blood tests to monitor the function of your liver, blood, and pancreas—typically every two weeks during the first three months and once a month thereafter. Avoid consuming grapefruit or grapefruit juice during treatment, as it can raise the levels of the medication in your bloodstream.

Notify your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suspect you might be pregnant. Discuss reliable methods of contraception, as Spexib can interfere with oral contraceptives. Effective birth control should be used during the treatment and for at least 90 days after completing the therapy. Speak with your doctor about any fertility-related concerns. This medication is not suitable for use in children or adolescents under 18 years of age.
