Olparib 150mg Tablet is an anticancer medication that belongs to the class of drugs known as PARP (poly \[adenosine diphosphate-ribose] polymerase) inhibitors. It contains the active ingredient Olaparib and is used to treat pancreatic and prostate cancers. This medicine may be prescribed on its own or in combination with other cancer therapies.

Do not take Olaparib if you are allergic to it or any of its components. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, fever, cough, or wheezing. Your doctor will perform blood tests before starting treatment and continue monitoring them monthly, as Olparib can lower red and white blood cell counts and platelets. Inform your healthcare provider if you have any existing conditions affecting your lungs, liver, heart, or kidneys before beginning treatment.

Olparib 150mg Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy, as it may harm the developing fetus and could lead to miscarriage. Women of reproductive age should undergo a pregnancy test before starting treatment and use effective birth control during therapy and for at least six months after the final dose. Breastfeeding is not advised during treatment, as it is unknown whether this medicine passes into breast milk. Additionally, men are advised not to donate sperm for at least three months after completing treatment. It is important to inform your doctor about all medications you are taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and dietary supplements.
