About

Olpaza 150mg Tablet is an anticancer medication from the PARP (poly \[adenosine diphosphate-ribose] polymerase) inhibitor class, containing the active ingredient Olaparib. It is used in the treatment of pancreatic and prostate cancers and may be prescribed alone or in combination with other anticancer therapies.

You should avoid taking Olaparib if you are allergic to it or any of the other components of this medication. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, fever, cough, or wheezing. Your healthcare provider will perform blood tests before starting treatment and monthly during therapy, as this medicine can lower the levels of red and white blood cells and platelets. Be sure to inform your doctor if you have any existing conditions affecting your lungs, liver, heart, or kidneys.

Olpaza 150mg Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy, as it may harm the fetus and increase the risk of miscarriage. Women of childbearing potential should undergo a pregnancy test before starting treatment and use effective birth control during therapy and for at least six months after completing it. Breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment, as it is unknown whether the medicine passes into breast milk. Men are also advised not to donate sperm for at least three months following the end of treatment. It is essential to inform your doctor about all medications you are currently taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and dietary supplements.
