Lynza 100mg Tablet is a cancer medication from the class of PARP (poly \[adenosine diphosphate-ribose] polymerase) inhibitors and contains the active ingredient Olaparib. It is prescribed for the treatment of pancreatic and prostate cancers and may be used alone or alongside other anticancer therapies.

Avoid taking Olaparib if you are allergic to it or any of its components. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, fever, cough, or wheezing. Your doctor will perform blood tests before starting treatment and every month thereafter, as this medication can lower red and white blood cell counts and platelets. Inform your healthcare provider if you have any existing conditions affecting your lungs, liver, heart, or kidneys.

This medication is not recommended during pregnancy, as it may cause fetal harm or miscarriage. Women of reproductive age should take a pregnancy test before starting treatment and use effective contraception during therapy and for at least six months afterward. Breastfeeding is not advised during treatment, as it is unknown whether Lynza 100mg Tablet passes into breast milk. Men should avoid donating sperm for at least three months after completing treatment. Be sure to inform your doctor about all medications you are currently taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and supplements.
