About

Bracanat 150mg Tablet is an anticancer medication that belongs to the class of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors and contains Olaparib as the active ingredient. It is used in the treatment of pancreatic and prostate cancers, conditions where cells grow and multiply uncontrollably. This medication may be used alone or in combination with other anticancer drugs.

Inform your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, fever, cough, or wheezing. Your healthcare provider will perform regular blood tests before and monthly during treatment, as Bracanat may lower red blood cells (RBC), white blood cells (WBC), and platelet counts. Let your doctor know before starting treatment if you have any lung, liver, heart, or kidney conditions.

This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy, as it can potentially harm the unborn baby or lead to miscarriage. Women of childbearing age should take a pregnancy test before beginning treatment and use effective contraception during therapy and for at least 6 months after completing treatment. Breastfeeding is not advised while on this medication, as it is unknown whether Bracanat 150mg passes into breast milk.
