Obrenza 100mg Tablet is an anticancer medication that belongs to the class of PARP (poly \[adenosine diphosphate-ribose] polymerase) inhibitors. It contains the active ingredient Olaparib and is used in the treatment of pancreatic and prostate cancers. This medicine may be used alone or in combination with other anticancer drugs.

You should not take Olaparib if you are allergic to it or any of the ingredients in the medication. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, fever, cough, or wheezing. Your doctor will perform blood tests before starting treatment and continue monitoring them monthly, as this medicine can lower red and white blood cell counts, as well as platelet levels. Inform your healthcare provider if you have any existing conditions related to your lungs, liver, heart, or kidneys before starting treatment.

Obrenza 100mg Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy, as it may harm the unborn baby or lead to miscarriage. Women of childbearing age should undergo a pregnancy test before beginning treatment and use effective contraception during therapy and for at least six months after the final dose. Breastfeeding is also discouraged during treatment and for some time afterward, as it is unknown whether the medication passes into breast milk. Additionally, men are advised not to donate sperm for at least three months after completing treatment. Be sure to inform your doctor about all medications you are currently taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and supplements.
