Ribaxa+ 100mg Tablet is an anticancer medication that belongs to a class of drugs called PARP (polyadenosine diphosphate-ribose polymerase) inhibitors and contains the active ingredient Olaparib. It is prescribed for the treatment of pancreatic and prostate cancers and may be used alone or in combination with other anticancer agents.

You should not take Ribaxa+ if you are allergic to Olaparib or any of its ingredients. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, fast heartbeat, fever, cough, or wheezing. This medication may lower your red and white blood cell and platelet counts; hence, your doctor will perform regular blood tests before and during the course of treatment. Inform your healthcare provider if you have any existing conditions related to the lungs, liver, heart, or kidneys prior to starting this medication.

Ribaxa+ 100mg Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy as it may harm the unborn baby and increase the risk of miscarriage. Women of childbearing potential should undergo a pregnancy test before starting treatment and use effective contraception during treatment and for at least six months after the final dose. Breastfeeding is also not advised while on this medication due to unknown risks to the infant. Additionally, men are advised not to donate sperm for at least three months after completing treatment. Be sure to inform your doctor of all medications, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter products, vitamins, and supplements, before beginning therapy.
