About

OBParp 150mg Tablet is an anticancer medication that belongs to a class of drugs known as PARP (poly \[adenosine diphosphate-ribose] polymerase) inhibitors. It contains the active ingredient Olaparib and is used in the treatment of pancreatic and prostate cancers. This medication may be used on its own or in combination with other anticancer therapies.

You should not take Olaparib if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, fever, cough, or wheezing. Since this medicine may lower red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, your doctor will perform blood tests before starting treatment and continue to monitor you monthly during the course of therapy. Inform your doctor if you have any pre-existing conditions affecting your lungs, liver, heart, or kidneys before beginning treatment.

OBParp 150mg is not recommended during pregnancy, as it may harm the fetus or lead to miscarriage. Women of childbearing potential should undergo a pregnancy test before starting this medication and use effective contraception during treatment and for at least six months after it ends. Breastfeeding is also discouraged while on this medication, as it is not known whether Olaparib passes into breast milk. Additionally, men are advised not to donate sperm for at least three months after completing treatment. Make sure to inform your healthcare provider about all medications you are currently taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and supplements.
