Ribaxa+ 150mg Tablet is an anticancer medicine that belongs to a group of drugs called PARP (poly \[adenosine diphosphate-ribose] polymerase) inhibitors. It contains the active ingredient Olaparib and is used to treat pancreatic and prostate cancers. This medication may be administered alone or in combination with other anticancer agents.

Avoid taking Ribaxa+ 150mg if you are allergic to Olaparib or any of its components. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, fever, cough, or wheezing. Your doctor will perform blood tests before and monthly during the treatment, as this medicine can reduce red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelet levels. Inform your healthcare provider if you have any history of lung, liver, heart, or kidney conditions before starting the treatment.

This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy as it may harm the unborn baby and increase the risk of miscarriage. Women of childbearing potential should undergo a pregnancy test before starting treatment and use effective contraception during therapy and for at least six months afterward. Breastfeeding is also not advised during treatment due to the unknown risk of the medicine passing into breast milk. Additionally, men are advised not to donate sperm for at least three months after completing treatment. Be sure to inform your doctor about all the medicines, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter products, supplements, and herbal remedies, that you are currently using.
