About
Tacroren 1mg Capsule contains the active substance Tacrolimus, an immunosuppressant belonging to the class of calcineurin inhibitors. It is used in combination with other medicines to prevent organ transplant rejection in patients who have received a liver, kidney, heart, or other organ transplant. Tacroren works by controlling the immune system, allowing the body to accept the transplanted organ.
Do not take Tacroren 1mg Capsule if you are allergic to tacrolimus or any of its ingredients. Inform your physician if you are allergic to certain antibiotics. Before starting treatment, tell your doctor if you have or have had liver or heart disease. Seek medical attention immediately if you experience fever, unexplained bruising or red spots under the skin, unusual tiredness, confusion, yellowing of the skin or eyes, reduced urine output, vision loss, or seizures.
While on this medicine, limit exposure to sunlight and UV light by wearing protective clothing and using sunscreen with a high SPF, as immunosuppressive therapy may increase the risk of skin malignancies. This medicine may also cause diarrhea; inform your physician if it persists for more than a day. Additionally, consult your doctor before receiving any vaccinations while taking Tacroren 1mg Capsule.
