About

Takfa 1mg Capsule contains Tacrolimus, an immunosuppressant belonging to the class of calcineurin inhibitors. It is used in combination with other medications to prevent organ rejection in patients who have undergone liver, kidney, heart, or other organ transplants. This medicine works by suppressing the immune system to help the body accept the transplanted organ.

You should not take Takfa 1mg Capsule if you are allergic to tacrolimus or any of its ingredients. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotics. Also, notify your healthcare provider if you have a history of liver or heart disease before starting this medication. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms such as fever, unexplained bruising (especially if it appears as red spots), fatigue, confusion, yellowing of the skin or eyes, decreased urine output, vision problems, or seizures.

While taking Takfa 1mg Capsule, limit your exposure to sunlight and UV light due to the increased risk of skin cancer associated with immunosuppressive therapy. Use protective clothing and sunscreen with a high SPF. This medicine may cause diarrhea—inform your doctor if it persists for more than a day. Additionally, consult your doctor before receiving any vaccinations during treatment.
