About

Takfa 2mg Capsule contains Tacrolimus, an immunosuppressant medication belonging to the calcineurin inhibitor class. It is used in combination with other medicines to prevent organ rejection in patients who have undergone liver, kidney, heart, or other transplants. It works by suppressing the immune system to help the body accept the transplanted organ.

Avoid taking Takfa 2mg Capsule if you are allergic to tacrolimus or any of its ingredients. Inform your doctor if you have a known allergy to any group of antibiotics. Also, let your physician know if you have or have had liver or heart conditions before starting the treatment. Contact your doctor right away if you experience symptoms such as fever, easy bruising or red spots under the skin, unusual tiredness, confusion, yellowing of the skin or eyes, reduced urine output, vision problems, or seizures.

While on Takfa 2mg Capsule, minimize exposure to sunlight and UV rays by wearing protective clothing and applying a high-SPF sunscreen, as immunosuppressants can increase the risk of skin cancer. If you experience diarrhea lasting more than a day, inform your physician. Speak with your doctor before receiving any vaccines, as immunosuppressive therapy can affect vaccine response.
