About

Takfa 0.25mg Capsule contains Tacrolimus, an immunosuppressant from the calcineurin inhibitor class. It is used in combination with other medications to help prevent organ rejection in patients who have undergone liver, kidney, heart, or other organ transplants. The medication works by controlling the immune system to help the body accept the transplanted organ.

Do not take Takfa 0.25mg Capsule if you are allergic to tacrolimus or any of its ingredients. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to antibiotics or have a history of liver or heart disease before starting this treatment. Contact your physician immediately if you experience symptoms such as fever, unusual bruising (which may appear as red spots), extreme fatigue, confusion, yellowing of the skin or eyes, decreased urine output, vision problems, or seizures while on this medication.

While taking Takfa 0.25mg Capsule, avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and UV rays. Wear protective clothing and use a high-SPF sunscreen to reduce the risk of skin cancer, which can be associated with immunosuppressive therapy. The medicine may also cause diarrhea—inform your doctor if it persists for more than a day. If you require any vaccinations, consult your healthcare provider beforehand.
