About

Temotero 100 mg Capsule belongs to the class of medicines known as anti-cancer (antitumor) agents. It is used to treat certain types of brain tumors, such as glioblastoma multiforme (a fast-growing tumor) in adults, and malignant gliomas, including glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma (a rare malignant brain tumor) in patients above 3 years of age. A brain tumor occurs when there is uncontrolled growth and division of cells in the brain.

Temotero 100 mg Capsule contains Temozolomide, which works by blocking the production of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid), the genetic material of cells. This prevents the growth and division of cancer cells, thereby slowing down or stopping tumor progression.

Take Temotero 100 mg Capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Some common side effects include loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, headache, anxiety, confusion, muscle aches, muscle weakness, and fever. These side effects are usually temporary and subside with time, but consult your doctor if they persist or worsen.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Temotero 100 mg Capsule is not recommended in patients with severe bone marrow suppression or significant bleeding disorders. It should also be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as it may harm the baby. Both men and women taking this medicine should use effective birth control to prevent pregnancy or fathering a child during treatment.

Since Temotero 100 mg Capsule can cause tiredness or drowsiness, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you experience these symptoms.
