Topotec 2.5mg Injection contains the active ingredient Topotecan. It is used to treat ovarian and lung cancers that have returned after completing chemotherapy. In cases where surgery or radiotherapy is not effective, it is also used to treat advanced cervical cancer in combination with another anticancer drug, cisplatin. This medicine is not recommended for pediatric use. Patients should avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice while taking Topotec 2.5mg Injection, as it may increase the drug’s levels in the body and raise the risk of side effects.
