About

Arney 100mg Tablet is a combination medication containing sacubitril and valsartan, an angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI). It is indicated for the treatment of chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction in adult patients. Sacubitril inhibits neprilysin, an enzyme that degrades natriuretic peptides, leading to increased levels of these beneficial peptides. Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that inhibits the harmful effects of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. This dual action helps to reduce cardiovascular stress, improve cardiac function, and significantly lower the risk of heart failure-related hospitalizations and mortality. It represents a significant advancement in the management of heart failure, offering a comprehensive approach to improve patient outcomes and quality of life by addressing multiple pathophysiological pathways involved in the disease progression.
