About

Denub Injection contains Denosumab as its active ingredient. It is primarily used to treat osteoporosis, a condition marked by weakened bones, and is also indicated for preventing bone-related complications in patients with specific cancers, such as multiple myeloma and bone metastases. Denub works by blocking a protein called RANK ligand, which is involved in bone breakdown. Clinical studies have shown that this medication can significantly improve bone density and lower the risk of fractures in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis and individuals experiencing bone loss due to cancer. Patients with moderate kidney impairment may require close monitoring of renal function during treatment.

Denub Injection is contraindicated in individuals who have known hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to any of its components. During treatment, it is important to maintain adequate calcium and vitamin D levels through supplementation. This medication is not approved for use in children or adolescents, as its safety and effectiveness in individuals under 18 have not been established. Additionally, it should be used with caution in patients with pre-existing hypoparathyroidism, a condition characterized by low levels of parathyroid hormone.
