About

Mstarin 25mg Capsule is a highly effective targeted therapy, specifically a potent tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI), engineered to selectively block the activity of the Bcr-Abl fusion protein. This abnormal protein is the defining characteristic and oncogenic driver of Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). By inhibiting the constitutively active tyrosine kinase activity of Bcr-Abl, Mstarin disrupts the signaling pathways essential for the uncontrolled proliferation and survival of CML cells. This precise mechanism leads to a significant reduction in malignant cell burden, normalization of blood cell counts, and induction of deep molecular and cytogenetic remissions in patients. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of newly diagnosed Ph+ CML in the chronic phase, and for Ph+ CML in chronic or accelerated phase in adult patients who have demonstrated resistance or intolerance to prior TKI therapies, offering a crucial therapeutic option.

Uses

  • Newly diagnosed Ph+ CML (chronic phase)
  • Ph+ CML (chronic or accelerated phase)
  • CML resistant to prior TKI therapy
  • CML intolerant to prior TKI therapy
