About

Mytera 250mg Tablet is an oral antifungal medication primarily indicated for the systemic treatment of persistent fungal infections affecting the skin, hair, and nails. Its therapeutic action stems from its ability to inhibit the synthesis of ergosterol, a crucial sterol component of fungal cell membranes. By disrupting ergosterol production, Mytera compromises the structural integrity and functionality of the fungal cell membrane, leading to increased permeability and ultimately the death of the fungal organism. This fungicidal effect is particularly potent against dermatophytes, the common culprits behind conditions such as onychomycosis (fungal nail infections), athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm. Administered systemically, Mytera reaches the site of infection from within, offering a comprehensive and effective approach to eradicate deep-seated or widespread fungal issues that topical treatments may not adequately address.
