About

Stamlo T is a fixed-dose combination medication containing Amlodipine and Telmisartan, indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension. Amlodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that causes peripheral arterial vasodilation, directly reducing peripheral vascular resistance and blood pressure. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that selectively blocks the AT1 receptor, preventing the vasoconstrictor and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II. This dual mechanism of action provides complementary blood pressure-lowering effects, offering superior efficacy compared to monotherapy with either agent alone.
