About

Hodpro 50mg capsules contain the active ingredient procarbazine, which belongs to a class of drugs known as alkylating agents. This medication is used alongside other treatments to manage Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, as well as brain tumors. Both Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma are types of blood cancers.

Common side effects of Hodpro may include nausea, vomiting, skin rash, slurred speech, loss of appetite, swelling (edema), and headaches. If you experience any of these symptoms persistently or they cause significant discomfort, be sure to inform your healthcare provider. Additionally, let your doctor know if you have a gluten allergy before starting treatment. Procarbazine can affect fertility, so discuss any fertility concerns with your physician prior to beginning therapy.
