Vilpower-M 500 Tab is a combination medication containing Vildagliptin and Metformin, indicated for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Vildagliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that works by enhancing the levels of active incretin hormones, glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP).
