About
Eleftha 150mg Injection contains Trastuzumab as the active ingredient and is indicated for the treatment of HER2‑positive breast cancer. In HER2‑positive patients, breast cancer cells produce excessive amounts of HER2 protein, which promotes rapid tumor growth by sending strong growth signals to cancer cells. This medication is also used to treat metastatic gastric cancer with elevated HER2 protein levels.
HER2‑positive breast cancers are generally more aggressive in nature. Eleftha works as targeted therapy, selectively blocking the proteins responsible for cancer cell growth, development, and spread. Effective contraception should be used during treatment and for at least seven months after the final dose.
Eleftha 150mg Injection is not recommended for patients under 18 years of age, those with severe breathing problems, or patients requiring oxygen therapy. Inform your physician if you have any heart conditions, experience breathlessness, or have previously undergone cancer treatment. Also, disclose all medications you are currently taking, including prescription drugs, over‑the‑counter medicines, supplements, and herbal products, before starting treatment.
